    THE NAME
If you are a firefighter you know
the name Super Vac. It is synonymous with
over 50 years of knowledge and service in
the fire industry. So you can bet that all of
this experience went into the design of the
new Super V2 Power Pro Saw.
    After all, knowledge is power!

    Firefighters that know roof operations
understand that the less time spent on the
roof, the better. Single family, apartment,
strip malls- there are no routine cuts in
    vertical ventilation.
It is one of the most demanding and
dangerous job on the fire scene.
The Super V2 is designed to meet these
    demands quickly and safely.

    THE POWER HEAD
The Shindaiwa 757 power head combines
    rugged, lightweight construction, smooth
performance, and raw power for quick
cutting. The 757 provides more horsepower
than either the Stihl 044 or the Husqvarna
372XP and comes complete with a Walbro
carburetor and extra large air cleaner.

The Super V2 depth gauge has multiple
functions. First, as a safety guard.
Because the chain is totally enclosed to
protect the firefighter, the saw can be started
on the ground and carried while running.
Second, the gauge is quickly set to depth of
cut, making roof operations simple and quick.
Third, the power head is protected from flying
debris adding years of life to the saw.
If required, the depth gauge is easily
and quickly removed via the included
skrench tool, which is carried on the saw.

    The self-cleaning design makes fast
work of cuts through multiple layers of
asphalt shingles, siding, wood, nails or thin
metal sheeting. The chisel chain is engineered
to create chips of the material being cut.
Unlike other chain designs that file the
material creating heat, the chisel chain creates
less heat in the cut. Less heat means a faster
cut with less mess and longer chain life.
Most fire service chain saws have small
stock air cleaners that are standard on the
power head. That would work great if they
were being used on a clear day to cut
firewood, but most times, you are using them
    in smoky, nasty environments.
The Super V2 uses a huge 128 square inch
air cleaner, but keeps it protected so it is not
taking abuse during those tough calls.
